The story of Danvægt
Many years of experience in the development of quality scales and weighing systems.
Danvægts mark has since inception in 1976 been the combination of proud traditions of craftsmanship and technology foresight.
June 1st. 1976 Danvægt was founded by the experienced weight maker, Helge Filt. The basic idea of that time was to contribute to the evolution from mechanical to electronic weighing, a development which has meant that today Danvægts factory in Hinnerup delivers primarily electronic scales.
Danvægt grew through the 1980s, purchased other weight factories and created a dominant market position. E.g. Danvægt bought Odense Weight Factory in 1982, Aarhus Weight Factory in 1984 and JNT-Weight Group, Copenhagen in 1991.
Today Danvægt A / S consist of production and administration, which is domiciled in Hinnerup, Denmark. It includes a comprehensive service organization that geographically is dispersed across the country. Danvægt also owns 100% of the subsidiary, Dansk Vægtkalibrering A / S, which was established in 1994, so as to obtain EU approval for verification.
In 2008 Danvægt A / S as the first mass production plant in Denmark DS / EN ISO 9001 and NAWI (EU Directive 90/384, DS / EN ISO 45501, non-automatic weighing instruments) was certified by DS Certification.
